The spa tickets were timed, and with around 20 people it could have been comfortable. There were actually about 50 of us, so it felt overcrowded. The restaurant also seemed short-staffed, and the staff lacked experience. At 4 a.m. my teenage daughter had a severe gastroenteritis issue. It's always hard to trace where something like that came from, but compare this with Brian Anderades' review below. She had spaghetti bolognese too. The hotel itself was nice.

There were a few small problems, and then at 11 p.m. they called to say we supposedly hadn't paid for a beer. It was the waiter's mistake. They had my card details and we were still staying there, so it could easily have waited until morning. Instead, they woke everyone up. Very unprofessional.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with delicious food and a breathtaking view. Our room was spacious and spotless, and the bed made for a wonderfully restful night. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly, courteous, and attentive. We had an amazing stay, and I'll certainly be back. I totally recommend this place.

The view was very good, and the staff were friendly, accommodating, and nice. The rooms were clean enough. Still, this doesn't feel worthy of four stars. The hotel is on a busy road, and it was hard to get hold of reception when we needed to ask something. You also have to buy a swimming cap for €5 before you can use the spa.
