The beds were so comfy, with the softest comforter, a cute little night light, and a fan for each one. Bathrooms were exceptionally clean and well kept, with hot water. The place itself was extremely clean and had all the needed amenities, close to the metro, shopping, groceries, and heavenly gardens. The hosts and staff were amazing, the friendliest and most helpful people I've come across. Food options were great, and the weekend cooking sessions were a bliss. You meet so many different people here, which is a lovely extra. It's a fun, welcoming, social place for travellers, vacationers, and everyone, and you should stay at least a weekend to experience it. Plus, it's the most reasonable place you can find. EXCEPTIONAL

I liked the daily breakfast, with bread, meat, cheese, cereal, fruit, juice, and coffee, and the beds were fairly comfortable. But the family who run the place also live there, so the kitchen and living room can be hard to use. There are three toilets and two showers for, I think, 24 beds. Two showers and toilets share one bathroom, so you often have to wait. That's not enough. The privacy curtains on the beds don't come down far enough to help much. Some plugs don't work, and only one person in my dorm had a fan. Wooden floors and creaky beds made the hostel noisy, along with people stomping around. The main problem was the guests. I know it isn't the hostel's fault, but some seemed to be long-term residents who didn't respect others. There was no hostel etiquette: people took calls in the dorm at midnight, played music and videos, packed everything at 6 am instead of the night before, and slammed lockers and doors. Staff need to enforce better behavior. I wouldn't come back with people like that staying there.

The building was beautiful, and the place was very clean. Staff were friendly, breakfast was really good, and everything was affordable. Thanks for having me!

Ralph was really helpful and dedicated. At 11 pm, he helped my dad get settled to sleep at De Leite Hostel. Thanks again, you're the best! Great place.

Family-run, very clean, with a great location and really friendly people. This is absolutely the best hostel in Lisbon, maybe even Portugal.
