We spent three days and two nights here during a major rainstorm. There were five of us, and we especially enjoyed the pool, Jacuzzi and sauna. We all had spa treatments, from facials to massages, and everyone was pleased with the experience. As a foreigner, I would have liked clearer directions for using the spa. The spacious dining room was a nice place to order food and drinks in one night. We were also glad there was a washer-dryer combo, since we needed to do laundry at that point in our trip.

The view from our room of the mountains and the whole city was amazing, and the location was great. The beds were lovely, though it wasn’t a double bed, and the rooms were spotless. Service was good too. The room phone let me call the spa and the hotel directly. Definitely worth the price.

The food was plentiful and delicious, and the staff took extra care with our allergies. We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday at the Boavista county club house, and they made the evening feel really special. Sebastião kept things running smoothly and made sure everyone was looked after. Beatriz, our events coordinator, was so friendly and helpful, with wonderful attention to detail. The whole team gave us excellent service. I'm very grateful to Boavista for making the occasion such a good one.

There are some lovely views of the surrounding area, and the bar and restaurant are a nice place to get refreshments after a round. I enjoyed the golf, though knowing your way around the course would help. The greens have plenty of contours, and houses line the course.

Be aware that all the attractions cost extra and need to be booked. The pool only holds 30 people, so the odds of getting to enjoy the warm water seem pretty low.
