Boutique Hotel Vivenda Miranda

The food and beverage service was great, and we really enjoyed breakfast and time at the bar. That didn't make up for a disappointing stay, though. We booked Monday and Tuesday during a cold, low-season week in November, when only 5 of the hotel's 27 rooms were occupied, but they still didn't make our wedding anniversary feel special. We were given room number 12. The bathroom sits between the basins and the toilet, and shower water gets everywhere. The toilet bowl was scratched up from a cleaning brush. We also found water stains on the tables and hand impressions on things in the room. Maintenance staff entered without asking while we were out on the terrace taking pictures. Our belongings were on the table, and we could have been doing something else in the room. When we asked to move to a better room for the second night, the woman, Manuel, showed us only two choices: one set up for special needs with a higher toilet, and another room that was even worse than ours. Although the hotel had plenty of empty rooms, staff refused to give us a better one. When we asked about the price difference, the staff couldn't do the basic math and quoted over 450EUROs to upgrade, the same amount we'd paid to book. We wouldn't recommend staying here. You could come for a meal, but the accommodation wasn't worth it.

We'd never stayed at a boutique hotel before, though we've been to many five-star and higher places, and this one felt special. The view was stunning, the food was fantastic, and breakfast was superb. Service was excellent throughout, with warm hospitality and such careful attention to detail. Francesco was especially nice, even though it was his first day working there. Thanks to everyone. We'll definitely return.

The beach is within walking distance, and Lagos town is a short ride away. We loved the peaceful setting and its awesome view. Our room was very comfortable, the service was good, and both breakfast and the restaurant were very good. We'd definitely like to come back sometime.

I was here with my mom, and the bathroom setup was awful. There wasn't a bathroom door, and the window looked straight into the bathroom, giving people walking through the garden an immediate view of the shower. At the very least, they should put something over the window so people can't see in.
