Casa Concha Guesthouse

Casa Concha has a really distinctive style, feels serene, and has two pools. One of the most gorgeous beaches is a 10-minute walk away, with other beaches nearby too. The old town is about a 5-minute car ride. The owners went out of their way to make us comfortable, and the staff were so kind. I celebrated my birthday here and loved every second of the stay. I’d 100% come back. If you want a place that makes you feel truly in Portugal, definitely go here. 11/10.

The two pools make this a lovely spot to relax, and it's well placed for the beach, around a 20-minute walk from Lagos Old Town. The cleaning staff were super friendly, especially Kumar and the lovely lady who complimented my partner's watercolour skills. A couple of times we needed basic help, like bus details for the airport or local advice about sending mail. A little extra help with visitor questions would be useful, but it was a minor gripe and Google could sort it out. All in all, a nice place.

It felt like staying in a Barbie dream house, beautiful and peaceful. Blue was amazing, so kind and made sure we had a perfect stay, even lending us her own beach blanket for the week. The location was great, with easy access to beaches, downtown, and street parking everywhere. I'd definitely stay here again.

We booked this hotel because there weren't many other options in the area for our dates, and visited in August 2019. Our room was very large and cleaned daily, and the staff were friendly. There are two decent-sized pool areas, with bold colours that look great in photos. The decor elsewhere is very dated, though, and the whole hotel could use a complete modernisation. I also left my Kindle behind. The staff called to let me know, but refused to send it to the UK even though I offered to pay any price. After that, they simply didn't return my calls. I want to be fair, so I'm giving it three stars. Hopefully the photos I'm posting show how photogenic the pool area is.
