Costa D’Oiro Ambiance Village

The Costa d’oiro hotel is spread across several houses, so the pools, sauna and fitness area are separate. You end up having to walk down the street in your bathing suit. Staff were really friendly and breakfast was great, but the sauna is tiny, the hamam wasn’t working, and the fitness facilities don’t feel up to the standard of a four-star hotel.

The staff are so friendly and helpful, and they all do a very good job. Luís, Saini and Mohit were especially competent and positive, and really sweet. We looked forward to seeing them each day. We can definitely recommend the hotel.

A lovely evening, with consistently delicious, high-quality food that was beautifully presented. We had dinner for two, each choosing a starter, main and dessert, plus white wine with the starters and red with the mains. The staff were attentive and extremely friendly, and the relaxed atmosphere added to it. At €145 for two, it’s a little pricey compared with other places nearby, but the quality makes it acceptable. If you’re after good food and service in a relaxed setting, it’s worth visiting.

It was comfortable and quiet, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. The room was clean and updated, with a very comfortable bed and a kitchenette for cooking. Continental breakfast had plenty of choices. I do wish the carpet extended along the sides of the bed, since the floor is cold when you get up. Restaurants and shops aren’t really within walking distance, but the ocean is about 15 to 20 minutes away on foot.
