The peaceful, friendly atmosphere made it easy to unwind, and the ocean-view room was a highlight. Waking up to that view each morning was unforgettable. My room at Guesthouse Our House in Lagos was cozy and comfortable, and spotlessly clean. Breakfast was delicious, with plenty of choices and lots of vegetarian options. The comfort and quality felt like great value for the money. I’d happily recommend it to anyone visiting Lagos.

Vasco, the manager, was fantastic. I loved the huge deck, and the modern setup and decor look beautiful. Having family or couples in their own rooms while sharing the rest of the house as common areas is a great idea. I just wish breakfast had started at 8am instead of 9am.

The owner made us feel so welcome, and the property was quiet enough that I hardly heard or saw the other guests. It was spotless, and they took plenty of covid precautions. I’d definitely stay again. One small thing: I was told that the room would be cleaned less often because of covid, which I thought was a good idea since it didn’t need daily cleaning. But during my four-night stay it wasn’t cleaned at all. After a beach holiday, sand was everywhere, so I wish it had been cleaned once. The owner was friendly, attentive, and accommodating throughout.

Vasco, the manager, is fantastic. The modern, simple setup is beautiful, and I really like the idea of having rooms for families or couples with the rest of the house as shared spaces. Spectacular stay!
