The room was small, there was no parking, and nobody was there to welcome us.

My booking was cancelled before I arrived because the communication had been so poor. For days, the owner didn't answer my questions about check-in or whether I could leave my luggage if I arrived early. When I followed up, I was given the address of another hotel that was supposedly handling things, but they didn't reply either. I asked for a free cancellation and got no answer to that request, too. Then, on the very same day I cancelled, the cancellation fee was taken from my account right away. Suddenly they were quick to act.

We found a parking space on the same street each time, though parking was tricky. The location was perfect for our three-day stay. The house was very clean, and even though our room was small, we were comfortable. They changed our towels, and breakfast was varied and very complete, with something different on most days. The woman serving it was so kind and polite. We really enjoyed staying here.

Muralha House was excellent for our three nights. The location puts you very close to the center of Lagos, the breakfast was delicious, and everyone was very friendly. We'll definitely return.
