Pacheco's Guesthouse

Basic but clean accommodation with a shared bathroom. A few things to know: Room 0 is tiny, the bed creaks, and there’s no kettle in the kitchenette for making tea. Our clothes were stolen overnight while drying on the window, so be careful.

The staff were nice, but the rooms are tiny and really old, the furniture is useless, and the washrooms could be cleaner. It’s just okay and not cheap. Only book it if nothing else is available.

The price felt fair, and the location worked well for us. It feels more like staying in a home than a hostel, though the kitchen and bathrooms are shared.

The place was nice and the owner was lovely, and it’s close to the center of Lagos. The street gets really noisy at night, though, so I didn’t sleep well.
