The bedroom was clean, and the place itself was spacious with everything we needed for our two nights at moonshine guest house. But it needs more attention to cleanliness. The bathroom smelled moldy, the shower curtain was too long and moldy along the bottom, and there were mold spots on a living and dining room curtain. The kitchen cupboards smelled odd, the coffee grounds provided were wet and unappealing, and the cover on the outdoor sofa looked a little rotten. The TV remote batteries were dead, so we borrowed the ones from the receiver. The gas BBQ worked, while the former charcoal one had been turned into a bookshelf. We booked because it was marked “best rated,” which I can't agree with. Still, it was a decent stay if you don't expect too much. Three stars for the lack of care.
