We stopped in for brunch while walking by, and I’m glad we did. The staff were kind and attentive without hovering, which I loved. The food was on point and nicely presented, and the juice was fresh, made with local oranges. We had plenty of space, which felt comfortable compared with other places in Lagos. We ordered several different plates, and the prices were better than we expected for the quality. It’s a hotel, but we only had brunch. We did notice the bathroom was impeccably clean and the interior looked cozy and modern. The owners told us it had opened recently. After reading the reviews later, we’ll have to book a stay next time. Thank you 😍🙏

The staff and the little details made this stay so memorable. Christopher, Vitor, Beatriz, and Lara at reception were always kind and helpful, and Francisco at the bar was such a warm, smiley presence who really checked that we were happy. Artiom, Marlene, and Luis at breakfast were lovely too, and I looked forward to seeing them each morning. The room cleaners were incredibly thorough, which meant a lot to me as a germaphobe. Our room was calm and bright, with a handwritten welcome note addressed to me. The bed was very comfortable, there were plenty of outlets, and the Molton Brown bath gels, plush robe, and slippers were nice touches. Breakfast was à la carte, delicious, and beautifully presented. The rooftop pool was perfect, the design was stunning, and the location was excellent. Even the hotel’s lovely scent had me obsessed. Check-in had a nice surprise I won't spoil. I travel a lot and have stayed at well over 100 hotels, and this is easily one of the best. There isn’t a thing I would change. Thank you to the MN56 hotel team for such an exceptional experience. One of my favorites ever, and I’d recommend it a million times.

The room turned out much larger than it looked in the photos, and the hotel was stylish while tucked away from the noisy parts of town. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. Breakfast was wonderful too, especially the pancakes with fruit and maple syrup. We had a great stay and I’d definitely recommend it.

We only stopped in for brunch, since we didn’t stay at the hotel, but the meal was lovely. The dishes were beautifully presented and really well prepared. When we’re back in Lagos next year, I’m planning to book a stay here.

The hotel is right in town but sits toward the edge, so it was very quiet. We could walk to the marina, train station, and the boardwalk toward the point and beach in about 15 minutes, and Uber pickup was right outside. The rooftop has a saltwater pool that’s slightly heated. We only tried it for a few minutes because the air was in the low 70s. The restaurant suggestions were spot on: A Petisqueira and Barbosa Bar & Kitchen. It was remodeled beautifully and was new in May 2025. The staff were as attentive and helpful as could be, and breakfast was fresh, made to order, and delicious. The orange juice was the best I’ve ever had.
