The rooftop and pool deserve a mention too, absolutely loved them ❤️ This is a social hostel, but there’s still a nice balance: if you skip the pub crawls and don’t feel like partying, you can relax. I loved the pub crawls, and the place was very clean. I stayed in an eight-bed women-only dorm with a balcony shared with other rooms. The balcony and its view were lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there are loads of activities. I did the algar seco tour and really recommend it. I loooved this hostel. PERFECT location.

I extended my stay twice because I loved it here so much. During my three months of solo travel, this was the best hostel I stayed at. It felt safe, social, clean, and central. I stayed in an eight-person dorm with plenty of space, large under-bed storage, lots of hooks, and a light and outlet at each bed. There weren’t curtains, but the beds were clean and comfortable. The rooftop was my favorite part. There was a sunrise gathering every morning with free tea and blankets, and I went each day to enjoy the beautiful view over the beach. The pool was open every day, and the bar ran from 4pm-8pm, with happy hour 4-6pm. On arrival you get a free beer or cider coupon, but bring €1 for the cup deposit. It’s cash only up there. The washer and dryer were spacious. A wash cost €5 with soap included, and drying was €2. There were events almost every day. I joined the free pub crawl and the Algar-Seco/Benagil Cave tour, and recommend both. Great guides and a fun way to meet people. Thanks for a great stay. (Stayed October 2025)

My room had a terrace with an incredible view, especially at sunrise, and the rooftop pool is amazing. The common areas are great, too. I was traveling solo and had the best few nights here. The staff were so nice, the free breakfast was delicious, and there’s plenty to do nearby. Ask the front desk for food tips. I had a lot of fun trying their recommendations. This place really made my time in lagos, I can’t rave about it enough!

There’s a lot going on here, with plenty of people, but things are well organized. Breakfast is good, the staff are kind, and there are fun activities like BBQs and pub crawls. You also get a free welcome drink, and the laundry is cheap. The downsides: the beds aren’t comfortable, there’s a 1 euro deposit for plastic cups even with the free drink, and the toilets aren’t always very clean. I can’t really blame the hostel for that, since lots of people don’t clean up after themselves. Still, 8.5/10.

The roof terrace has a pool, bar, and seating, and it’s a lovely place to catch some late-day sun. The hostel is extremely clean, and breakfast in the morning is a nice touch before heading out. The staff are amazing and will help however they can. I’d join the WhatsApp group to keep up with events and get ideas for things to do. Tiago leads the Bengal Caves tour. He knows a lot and enjoys talking football if that’s your thing. He’s a lovely chap, and I highly recommend the trip. It’s good value at €40. Around the corner, The Garden is a great place to eat, with good, affordable food and drinks. Book the day before because it gets busy. Incredible hostel, one of the best I’ve stayed in.
