Summer and Annise made our stay especially easy. They arranged our boat tour and put together breakfasts to go for our early train to Lisbon. The rooms and grounds were spotless and beautifully cared for, and the service was exceptional. We spent four nights here and loved every bit of it. We’ll definitely be back :) Thanks!

The gardens feel like a real botanical garden, and breakfast was beautifully served and spectacularly good. We loved this charming little hotel in a perfect spot in Lagos, Algarve. The two women we spoke to at reception, including Summer, were wonderfully helpful and spoke English. One small drawback for us was patchy wifi, though it may work better in some rooms. It wouldn’t put us off staying here. Also, don’t miss a meal at nearby Lucas Rooftop, it was a dining experience.

We spent a week here in September 2025, in a loose collection of different Mediterranean-style rooms and small garden apartments, all very clean. The grounds are lovely and shady, and the staff are approachable and helpful. It’s roughly halfway between downtown Lagos and the nearby beaches, so downtown is an easy stroll without having to stay amid the crowds and bustle.

Breakfast was really good, and we enjoyed having it every morning. We also found our room comfortable and clean, with a lovely atmosphere throughout the house. Uma Casa à Beira Sol is beautiful and peaceful, a great place to unwind. It’s close to the center while still feeling quiet.

Easy free parking on the street, and it’s a short walk to the beach and the grotas. This boutique hotel feels like a hidden gem, with lovely flowers all around and a stunning pool area for a swim or some sun in a peaceful setting. The decor and friendly staff made the stay feel relaxing, and every detail seemed thoughtfully done. Highly recommend.
