The villa sits in pretty countryside with lovely views, and it’s a convenient distance from the beach. The apartment was roomy, with high ceilings and plenty of space, making it a lovely place for a relaxing family holiday. The owners were very friendly and welcoming, thank you for the hospitality. The one thing we missed was a washing machine, especially for a longer stay with a child.

You’ll want a car to stay here. There may be public transport, I think, but it’s limited to the N125, around 1.5 km from the Villa. The two-bedroom ground-floor apartment is enormous, with space in the living room for kids to play “I spy.” The beds are comfortable, and every room has A/C that can be set for the weather. We were here in winter and used warm air. From the apartment you can see the pool and, if the sky is clear, a splendid sunrise. There are three WCs and bidets, plus two walk-in showers, a real bonus that should be mentioned in the listing. The kitchen has a gas stove rather than an induction hob, handy for people from the UK who are used to gas. There’s table tennis and some BBQ equipment too. Don’t miss the two traditional seafood restaurants closest to the Villa. They’re cheap, clean, hygienic, and fresh.

The setting felt idyllic for my trip, and it’s only a short drive to nearby Lagos. The villa was lovely, clean, and tidy, with a nice pool. The owner was very helpful. I’d happily stay again and recommend it to others.

A quiet, lovely spot with a great pool and good facilities. Guests staying longer than a week would really benefit from having a washing machine.
