We stayed as a couple in February, during the off-season, and really loved the hotel. Its design is beautiful, with lots of care and charm. There are several small pools around the property that look lovely, although we couldn’t use them at that time of year. The staff were warm, attentive, and incredibly friendly. They took care of every request right away, and we felt comfortable throughout our stay. Breakfast was a highlight too, lovingly prepared, with something new to discover each day. Everything is walkable from here: the old town, the sea, and the beautiful cliffs are all an easy stroll away. We felt very comfortable and can absolutely recommend it.

Breakfast was the standout at Villas Dinis. Every morning brought something different, and it was always fresh, tasty, and varied. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and looked after well, and the location made it easy to reach everything while staying peaceful. It was a lovely start to each day. It was a little chilly in the room in November, and just having sheets instead of a duvet wasn’t quite enough. That small issue didn’t spoil our stay, though. The service was great and the atmosphere welcoming. I’d happily come back.

We had a spacious, clean room and a very good breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful, even recommending a boat tour and arranging the booking for us. One of the beaches was only a five-minute walk away, and we went there every day. The city center is a longer walk, up a big hill, so if nightlife is your priority, somewhere closer might suit you better. There’s a bus that passes the hotel once an hour.

We had such a good visit, and the staff deserve a big thank you. They were lovely, the rooms were spotless, and the place has a real Portuguese charm. Even when fully booked, it never felt crowded, since there was plenty of space to yourself. Check-out at noon was a nice bonus. The breakfast was generous and delicious, and there are two little public pools that felt almost like having a pool to ourselves because nobody else was around. Each room has its own character and a pretty outdoor sitting area. It’s about a five-minute walk to the most beautiful beach nearby and 15 minutes to Ponte de Piedade. For a three-star hotel, this place is amazing. It’s the best place we’ve stayed in Portugal. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.

There are several pools, and one right outside our room was such a nice touch. The other guests were lovely too, and breakfast was excellent. A charming place, and we had a great stay.
