We loved the hammock outside the villa. It was very nice, secluded, and private, and the winery staff were friendly and gave us a great tasting. The road to the one villa needs maintenance so vehicles can get there without problems.

We had a lovely, unhurried visit, and Gonçalo was a fantastic host. He was charming and friendly throughout the wine tasting, which was excellent. We tried one sparkling wine, one red, one white, and three ports, each with local snacks. The wines were all great, and the food was excellent too. At the end, they even offered us an extra drink of our choice. The vineyard is beautiful and has a lovely museum. It can be hard to choose among so many wineries in the area, but we’re glad we picked this one. We bought a couple of bottles and some olive oil to take home, all at reasonable prices. I’d definitely recommend a visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Elisabeth was lovely and patient, and the wines were very good with tasty snacks. We only came for the winery tour and tasting, and had a great time. There was quite a bit of wine: a bubbly, a white, a red, then three ports. While we rested by the pool, they offered another glass of our choice. This was our first Quinta visit in Douro, and we enjoyed all the wines.

Our host was a delight, and the quinta is absolutely gorgeous. The wine tasting came with perfect food pairings. Fantastic experience, highly recommend it.
