The owner was friendly and helpful. When there was no tea or coffee machine, she even found unsweetened cocoa powder for us. But the breakfast had very little choice: just three boiled eggs and strawberries for fruit. After we ate all the strawberries and the three eggs between two people, she complained about us to the next guests. There’s no air conditioning, and dogs barked all night when we opened the windows. The room had only beds and a bathroom, with just one charging spot and no hooks for clothes.

The house has everything you could need for all ages, from our 10-month-old to us. We’ve stayed twice now and will definitely return. The hospitality was amazing, and breakfast was really nice.

The garden was well arranged, with a pool, hammock, barbecue area, several tables and chairs, and a little fish pond. My room was large, with a private bathroom overlooking the pool. Everything was very clean and organized, and breakfast had plenty of variety and was made fresh that day. The hostess was really friendly. It’s a 40-minute walk to the center or five minutes by car. Leiria itself doesn’t have many activities, but the restaurants and very friendly locals make up for that. Smoking is only allowed in the garden or outside in front of the B&B. It’s wheelchair accessible, but only the ground-floor room is accessible. You can book online or by phone, and pay in advance or on your last day. I really recommend it for a typical Portuguese experience, especially if you live in a big city and want a quiet, nice getaway.

A great house with everything, including a swimming pool, billiards, cards, and a lovely breakfast service. The woman was so nice and welcoming, it felt like being at home. Awesome price, five stars indeed.

Everything was very clean and new, with a spacious living room, a nice garden, and a pool. The breakfast included typical foods and produce from the garden. Lucinda, the manager, was attentive and helpful, and spoke English, French, Spanish, and Portuguese. Really recommended. The only drawback is that you need a car to get to Leiria.
