Those room views are gorgeous, and the rooms are immaculately clean. The staff are wonderful, breakfast is a fantastic buffet, and there's parking on site. We also had enough outlets to charge all our devices overnight. It's become my regular choice for Lisbon weekends, with easy access to Campo Pequeno or Colorama.
The price seemed too high, even outside the tourist season, given the overall quality. I could hear other guests easily, and during a storm the rain and wind noise kept me awake. The towels in particular felt cheap, and the room items generally seemed low quality. On the plus side, the metro is right nearby and goes straight to the airport. Breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly.
Right in the center and close to the station, with friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast is included and has a good range of options, which the staff were quick to replenish. The bedding and towels were somewhat worn, and the lumpy pillow made it hard to sleep comfortably. It's a budget hotel.
The metro is very close and reception staff and service people were nice and helpful. If you get a cheap deal and only need somewhere to sleep for a couple of days, it could work. At the price I paid, though, I was disappointed with what Ramada offered, even if I didn't run into any seriously frustrating problems. For a four-star hotel, it feels mediocre. Breakfast was average and often missing basics like butter or eggs, and the coffee was bad. The rooms are old and unrenovated, though acceptable if you don't mind them looking dated. Showering was one of my worst experiences, with weak pressure and water that was hard to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Maybe I just had a bad room. The toilet paper was the worst quality I've ever seen. Come on, this from Ramada? An upper-floor room, like the 18th, may mean a ten-minute elevator wait. There's no free office area for working on a laptop.
The rooms were clean, if dated, and the road traffic never stopped making noise. TAP Portugal sent us here after bumping us from a flight, apparently to meet its minimum obligation to provide a room and meal. Things were almost tolerable until the included buffet dinner. It was easily the worst meal I've had in years, overcooked and bland, and only water came with it. A really unfortunate end to an otherwise amazing trip to Portugal.
