Lisbon Garden Flower

We only booked it to get a few hours of sleep before our next flight, arriving at 1AM and leaving at 6AM. The location is great, close to the airport and everything, but the rooms weren't clean. The shower head was broken, so I had to hold it the whole time I showered, and the luggage barely fit through the doorway. The towels looked very thin and cheap. It wasn't expensive, but still didn't feel worth the price.

For a one night stay before a flight, with my wife and our two adult daughters, this place was safe and in a nice part of Lisbon, Campo Grande. The manager kept in touch, and there was a friendly, helpful person on site during the day. For Summer 2022, the price was on the more affordable side for the space and location. Still, based on our needs and the private room and toilet we rented, I would have chosen somewhere else. Getting in and out meant dealing with three old style keys. The room needs maintenance, the toilet sink was far too small, and its shelves were small and uneven. The bath towels were tiny, maybe only big enough for a young child, and the pillows were thin. The room is by a busy road. There was no air conditioning, as disclosed, so opening the windows for fresh air also let in the traffic noise.

We were due to stay on Sept 24th, arriving on a late flight. We took a taxi to the listed address, but the building didn't look like a hotel, had no signs identifying it as one, and the door was locked. The driver confirmed we were at the right place. There were a few doorbells, but nobody answered. Our cab driver was getting irritated, so I asked him to take us back to the airport. I couldn't find a phone number to contact the hotel, and we eventually found somewhere else for the night. I contacted the booking company to get a refund, but the hotel refused. After a really long flight, this just wasn't worth the price. The bed was dirty, and noise from the other rooms was very noticeable. I wouldn't recommend it. It's easy to miss that the bathroom isn't in the room and has to be shared.
