Lisbon Marriott Hotel

Getting to Lisbon Airport took about 10 minutes by car, which was handy. In the room, the bed was very comfortable, there was plenty of cupboard space (though drawers would have helped), a strong rain shower and enough plug points. The main letdown was having to request basics like a hair dryer, toothbrush and toothpaste. Breakfast was average.

We never had an average meal or experience during our stay. The food was amazing, the prices reasonable, and the place felt like a family. The clean, modern rooms were elegant, and the facility itself was over the top. Service was just as impressive, with friendly staff who went out of their way to look after us. One of the best Marriott Hotels I've had the chance to stay at in my travels. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for a great experience!!! 👍👍💕

The restaurant food was delicious and the portions were huge. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was great. There were nice amenities both in the room and around the hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was quick and easy. Check-out was just as fast. I'd definitely stay again.

There aren't any microwaves in the building, so reheating leftovers from meals costing 50+ euros wasn't an option. That added to an already disappointing stay, especially for a Marriott member of years. The bigger issue was the air conditioning. It's February, with cold nights outside, but the building stayed above 35° and we suffered for a week. The heat was obvious as soon as you entered the lobby. Even the cleaning staff opened balcony and room doors to try to cool the hallways. Our room's AC barely worked. I called maintenance several times and was told it was “being worked on remotely,” but nothing changed. I woke up drenched in sweat every night, even after leaving the balcony door open and repeatedly asking someone to check the AC. At first I thought we were just unlucky, then I spoke with five colleagues in other rooms. None of us was comfortable with the AC, and some had no semi-working air conditioning at all. For this fancy, overpriced sweat box, I'd recommend finding somewhere else. I've had more comfort and better service at cheap motels.
