Jose gave us a wonderful welcome and was such a nice guy. For this price and experience, I don't think you'd find a better place. The hostel was clean, just a minute from the metro and supermarket, in a good neighborhood. The bathroom is shared, but it's still good and there's always hot water. There's also a kitchen with a fridge, washing machine and dryer, plus free coffee.

Even a year later, my friends and I still remember how cozy this hostel felt during our holiday. The owner was kind, friendly and always willing to help, and made us feel at home. Everything was perfectly clean. After staying at other hostels on my holiday, I'm sure I won't find another experience as homely as this one. ❤️

José made the whole visit special, attentive to every detail and a great guide to the city. Check-in and check-out were easy, and the rooms were quiet and clean. The beds were comfortable, and the spacious bathroom was well equipped. There's also a kitchen with everything you need. The residence is within 50 meters of Alameda metro station, which takes you around the city for 1.5€.

The room was small but cozy, and they provided a fan. My wife and I stayed at Residence Metro-Alameda in July 2022, very close to Alameda metro station on Lisbon's Red line. We arrived early while rooms were being prepared, and the kind woman at reception let us store our luggage a couple of hours ahead of time. She also showed us the room, kitchen and other amenities. The shared kitchen has four stoves, a communal fridge and enough cutlery. We appreciated how neat everything was. It was a wonderful stay, and we definitely recommend it.

The manager and staff are nice, and the place is really clean. They clean the rooms every day, and you can use the washing machine and dryer. Alameda metro station is just a three-minute walk away, with plenty of places to eat within ten minutes on foot.
