A free breakfast, clean comfortable bedding and a lovely view from the windows made for a good stay, and it wasn’t too noisy. There’s a large outdoor area with benches and clotheslines. The friendly, helpful check-in desk and shops and cafes just a two-minute walk away are handy. Good value, especially for hikers on the fishermens trail.

The location and price work well for hikers on the fisherman’s trail, and having breakfast included was nice. The shared bathrooms were passable but nothing special. The old bunk beds wobbled so much that we had to put the mattresses on the floor.

For €25 a night, getting a bed, shower and breakfast is fair enough. Still, the place is quite run down, with a lot of broken things, which is a shame. Some plastering and paint, plus new beds, would make it really good.

There’s a free breakfast, and it has what you need while walking the trail. But the place feels worn out and needs repairs. The beds wobble and squeak, so light sleepers should bring earplugs. The hot shower worked, though I had to hold the nozzle. There’s just one key for everyone in the room, which the last person out leaves at reception; if someone doesn’t follow the system, you can get locked out. There are no lockers that lock, so I wouldn’t leave valuables in the room. It’s cheap, but not exactly cheerful. Keep your expectations in check and you’ll be fine.
