We were four people and booked the four-person room, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Communication from the hosts was sparse, the beds creaked and felt shaky, and the mattress and pillow were so thin they seemed doll-sized. There was no mirror in the room, and the door wouldn’t lock. The bathroom was right in the middle of the kitchen, so using it first thing meant going in front of everyone having breakfast. Breakfast cost €9 per person; we went into town and paid under €4 instead.

The room and bathroom were clean, but the kitchen supplies were very limited, even the cutlery. Check-in was self-service, and I didn’t see any staff. The check-in and checkout times are enforced very strictly.

The kitchen was clean, modern and tidy. The rooms, though, were loud, crowded and full. It still worked for what I needed, just a place to sleep before walking the Fishermen's Trail.

I really enjoyed staying here. My private room with its own bathroom was roomy, spotless and nicely decorated, and the hostel looked brand new. There’s a lovely shared space and a kitchen with plenty of equipment.
