After a terrible stay elsewhere, we booked Casa das Barcas the night before and were so glad we found it. The woman we think was the owner was kind and easy to communicate with, and even checked in after checkout to ask how things went. The locked outside gate, with keys only for staff and guests, also helped us feel safe. The room was cozy and comfortable, with a gorgeous ocean view. We’d love to come back.

The owner was lovely and happy to share information, and we got a very friendly welcome. Breakfast was good too. Our room had a terrace with a magnificent sea view, which was all we could ask for. We’d happily return 👍
