Underdog Surf House

We had an amazing house for relaxing and spending time together, and the beach was just a short walk away, which made it great for surfing the local spots. Our group of 30 spent 10 days here, and it was one of the best trips we can remember. Daniel and the rest of the staff were welcoming and caring throughout, always checking that we were having a good time. We’ll come back and would recommend it 100% :)

This place felt like home. I’d meant to write about Daniel and the team, including their family, since summer. I can’t rate the experience highly enough, even though I’m not much of a surfing fan. With a little time between jobs, I booked two weeks on a whim to learn surfing and see Portugal. After a week of lessons, I rented a scooter to explore the coast. Daniel booked it for me, suggested routes, and kept in touch while I was out on the trip. I spent five days touring solo without speaking Portuguese, which was a great experience, if a little foolish. I came back for another three days at the end of the trip. If you want to meet new people, have fun, and stay somewhere completely genuine, this is the place.

The house has such a lovely atmosphere that I’d want to come back. Daniel takes good care of the surf house, and it’s neat and cozy. Simona kindly made special pancakes that everyone appreciated, even those avoiding carbs.

After a few days at Underdog Surfing house, it already felt like home. It’s close to the beach, has everything you need, and everyone is so nice. The place feels really familiar, and we had a great time staying and surfing there. We’ll definitely be back!
