The owners were so kind and helpful, and the rooms get cleaned every day. It’s a very clean place, the AC works really well, and it’s not expensive. I’d absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone. Obrigada😍

The free fresh breakfast is a nice extra, though there isn’t much choice. The place is a bit dated and could use some care, but it’s worth the price they ask.

If you’re a biker, this is the place to stay in Lousã. The family who own it are incredibly nice and ready to help with anything, and they even keep plenty of bike tools and spare parts. Rooms are simple but perfectly nice for the very affordable price, and breakfast was great. I can’t recommend it enough.

The room was big, spotless, and had a good bathroom. Staff were very friendly, and the hotel has a welcoming, family feel. It’s right in central Lousa, close to everything, with lots of information on local activities. The river beach and hiking trails are around a 20-minute walk away. It’s also a bike hotel. The main problem was the noise. The plumbing was extremely loud: whenever someone in the neighboring room turned on the bathroom water, I could hear it clearly, and it woke me around 6am when they were washing their hands or something. My room didn’t seem to have much soundproofing. Breakfast was okay.

It’s a very nice traditional hotel, clean, with good WiFi, a great fan, and good value. I’d skip breakfast next time. For 5 euros, you can get better coffee and bread at a bakery, and the bakeries or pastellerias have better juice than the yellow sugar water, plus better white rolls, cheese, and ham. I still definitely recommend the hotel.
