The cliff-top walks in either direction were breathtaking, with views that felt completely unspoilt. Burgau and Luz are both less than a five-minute drive away, and the place sits nicely between them. A great place to stay.

Set in a quiet spot with sea views and local greenery, this place was very clean and had modern amenities. It works well for families with children and for couples without them. I’m already looking forward to coming back soon. Highly recommend!

The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and it’s wonderfully peaceful here. Luz and Salema beaches are just a few minutes away. There’s a small gym, an indoor pool, a sauna and a Turkish steam room. I’d definitely come here.

We were moved to another unit only 24 hours later, and our apartment hadn’t been cleaned in the meantime, even though we asked repeatedly. We were there with our two young children, aged 1 and 3, and one was sick and feverish. Staff kept saying there was nothing more they could do, not even wash the floor while we waited. Other guests who checked in that day were settled before they started preparing our new unit. I found that disgusting and very disrespectful. A broken sewer pipe backed up and flooded most of our apartment. Mar Da Luz refused to send anyone to help, saying it was Friday night and they didn’t offer 24-hour service. I had to clean everything myself and remove the contaminated belongings. I was very disappointed by how we were treated, not by the sewer backup itself. The service was very bad, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, especially families.
