The area was quiet, the view from the windows was lovely, and the flat was clean, cozy and comfortable. It was well equipped, and the host was nice. It's close to the airport. There are a few rooms in the flat, and you can sit outside on the chairs, though there's no table. To find the place easily, look for a staircase and go downstairs, then look for house number 3. Payment is in cash when you arrive!
We had a really enjoyable three-night stay in Machico. The owner and her mother were lovely. We phoned when we arrived, and someone came to let us in. The beds were comfortable and the showers were great. We also used the washing machine a couple of times, and there was a small outdoor drying rack. The views over town were great. With a bit of planning, buses 20 and 53, run by Sam buses, go right to the door. Machico has plenty to offer, including a nice golden sandy beach, lots of places to eat, shops, buses to most places in the east of the island, two large supermarkets, and some great walks nearby. We'd recommend this apartment and would stay again. Cheers 😁😁

The owner gave us a very warm welcome when we arrived. The house was comfortable, well equipped and very nice, with great views across Machico. It worked perfectly as a base for exploring Madeira.
The welcome was very friendly and accommodating, and the apartment had the basic things needed to get started in Madeira. It's small and less than 10 minutes by car from the airport, with a taxi costing €15.
