Ana looked after us so well, and she speaks fluent French. We had a wonderful holiday in early April. The spotless apartment was very well equipped, and the location was peaceful, close to shops, and handy as a base for exploring the island. We didn’t need a car. It’s less than 10 minutes from the airport, so we could enjoy our holiday right up to the last minute.

The only tricky part for us was parking. Otherwise, the house had everything a family with children could need, including for the beach, and the sea is just 100 meters away. Anya, our hostess, was so welcoming: she met us at the airport, drove us home and clearly explained how to use the house. There was fruit, honey and wine waiting for us, too.

Ana and Ricardo were kind, friendly and always ready to help. The apartment was bigger than we expected and had every comfort. It’s also just steps from Machico beach and several shops. I highly recommend it.
