We hardly slept on three of our seven nights because of the noise. In Mimosa 2, the bedroom faces the street, and you can hear everything as if you were outside. There’s also a bar nearby, with people shouting and laughing at 3-4 AM. The lack of sleep seriously affected our trip. What’s the point of paying for a place if you can’t get any rest? I didn’t see this mentioned in the listing. We had internet for only three days of the entire stay. The apartment itself was okay, and the owner is too, but we had a bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful vacation.

The sea view is majestic, and Mimosa apartment has a huge terrace with chairs and tables. It’s so comfortable that it’s hard to leave. The place was tidy and clean, with everything you might need for cooking in the kitchen. I’d definitely book it again. The airport is about a 40-minute walk away. There’s a supermarket roughly 10 minutes on foot, and two bars across the street.

We felt right at home in this comfortable apartment. It was ideally located, with a lovely sea view, and close to the airport runway, town center, beach, and restaurants. Phillipa was friendly, helpful, and supportive. We loved our time in VG and will definitely return.

A lovely, well-kept little flat just outside Machico. The small one-bed was all I needed. It was accessible and had parking, the Wi-Fi worked well, and it’s a great spot to watch planes take off.

There was no furniture, and the place wasn’t clean. Check the apartment name carefully, since the apartments don’t match the photos on booking. We left after the first night.
