Maria made us feel at home and went out of her way to make sure we had what we needed. She even asked her son to set up Spanish music channels for us. Her warmth and humility meant a lot, and aren’t easy to find these days. The room was huge, the bed was comfortable, and everything was clean and smelled lovely. Fresh bath towels were provided daily, and breakfast was generous and fresh. We had a wonderful few days at your home. We’d definitely come back.

Bianca Lucas happens to be the name of one of the owners of the cleaning company that also handled breakfast service at my Guest House. I strongly advise against staying here. It’s a complete rip-off. The host was absent when I arrived and when I left. My room was practically unsanitary: the toilet seat was badly damaged, the bathtub was dirty and rusty, the bedroom window wouldn’t shut, there was just one power outlet in the whole room, and the duvet was too narrow. The place was very dark and noisy. Breakfast in the cellar was mediocre, with the light switching itself on and off. There was no choice at all, not even a tea bag, so I had to drink the disgusting coffee. It’s a shame I can’t attach a photo to show what I’m describing.

The house was dirty and smelled awful. The sheets smelled of cat, and water leaking around the shower left the bath mat soaked. The stair handrail was loose and felt unsafe; the stair corners were dirty, and the rugs looked like they hadn’t been cleaned for a long time. There was noise at night, too. We didn’t like it and wouldn’t recommend it.
