Our family had such a memorable trip, and the kids loved meeting and touching the animals. Joana was so friendly and helpful, and even sent us a lovely handwritten note with homemade cookies. We also had one of the best massages of our lives in the beautiful library. The rooms were clean and well looked after. In winter the house felt warm and cozy, with a fireplace and separate heaters in each room. There was a portable heater in the shower too, though we didn't need it. Breakfast was provided each morning, including fresh bread. It's one of our best family holidays, and we'd love to return when we can use the pool.

The best part for children is the 5 pm animal feeding, when guests can help feed and interact with many friendly animals, often alongside staff. The staff clearly care about them: they know each animal's name, background and adventures, and put their safety and well-being first. There are areas of the farm set aside for guests, and a reception space with books and souvenirs. Getting there is a little tricky because there's no parking near the main road, but spending an afternoon here was still a delight. It's a lovely family outing and a quiet refuge for anyone wanting to unplug and explore.

The room had everything we needed, and we had such a great time with the animals. They're all lovely, and the staff really are the best. Thanks to Joana, Mariana and the whole team for making these days special for my family and me. We loved it! (Photo of sweet Mikas in a basket 😍)

There are so many lovely corners around the farm where you can relax or watch the animals. The afternoon feeding was a highlight, with guests joining in, and the animals were friendly, especially the cats and dogs who like being petted. Joana and Mariana were super nice and explained everything really well, even in English :-) We had an amazing stay. Big thanks to Casa das Palmeiras.

The farm area is open for guests, and we loved seeing all the animals. Our room wasn't their best one, but it was still very good. The rooms are newly renovated, and the hosts are really nice.
