The view is amazing, as long as you’re not in a room on the back side of the hotel. We had a nice room, and the hallways smelled like fresh cut apples. I don’t understand why this place only has 3 stars, it was amazing. Breakfast was quite delicious, and the bar and its barkeeper were great and affordable too. The only reason I gave the room 4/5 was that the toilet had trouble refilling its water and woke us at 4 in the morning.

That view from the room is amazing, and I’ll definitely come back for it. The hotel feels frozen in time, though. The TV looks like the one I got for Xmas in 1994. It’s in an absolutely beautiful location with a view to kill for. The lady at reception, who I think is a manager, was really lovely and helpful. Thank you x

The setting on top of a hill gives you great views across the area and the distant hills, and it’s a quiet spot. There’s a historic church behind the hotel and a coffee shop open after noon. The furniture and furnishings are quite dated, but prices are good. The building is clean and well kept, and the employees were courteous, friendly, and professional.

The food was some of the worst I’ve ever eaten, and it was expensive for such poor quality. Whenever we complained, we got an argument and no apology, which only made us feel worse. The whole experience was thoroughly upsetting.

So far, one star. I really needed lunch when we arrived, but was told the restaurant was booked for a large group and had no free tables. I would have understood, but they could have suggested the lovely little restaurant just two minutes away. We’ll see how the rest of the hotel is, maybe it’ll earn some more points. I’ll update later.
