Casa da Ribeira

The photos make this look like a lovely place, but my one-night stay felt disappointing and unsettling. I was told there were other guests, though I didn't see anyone, and my car was the only one in the lot. Being alone at night in a remote casa rural felt unsafe. There was no food or drink on hand: no restaurant, bar, mini fridge, or even snacks. The sheets looked clean but smelled used, and the blue soap and shower gel were awful. There was no body lotion or proper set of amenities either. Breakfast cost €10 for what would be €2.50 at any café, and I had to call the front desk at 10am to get someone to come serve it. This is an empty house where you pay to sleep alone without services. I wouldn't recommend it. For that price, stay somewhere with actual staff and services.
