Joy Beach House

We found it so hard to leave Sao Pedro de Moel. The ocean is just a five-minute walk one way, and pine forest trails are nearby in the other direction. It's a small, beautiful place that still feels undiscovered, and we'd definitely return. The house itself is lovely, with a cozy room that had a built-in radio playing Portuguese music, which I miss. The boho interior is a dream, and you can see the sea from the lounge and breakfast area, as well as our room. Sunlight fills the building all day, and we enjoyed it from a hammock on the terrace. There's also a small, quiet indoor pool. We had dinner at the restaurant twice, and both the food and service were great. Breakfast had everything we needed and tasted yummy, especially thanks to Igor's mum Ana, who makes it. She's such a kind, wonderful soul. Igor welcomed us so warmly too. We felt comfortable from the very first moment and wholeheartedly recommend staying here.

We only stayed a short time, and wished we could have stayed longer. The place was clean and beautifully decorated, with very nice staff and a delicious breakfast. It's a five-minute walk to the beach.

The house has extraordinary interior design, and with only five rooms it felt very cozy. The host was extremely friendly, and breakfast was an amazing experience. The indoor pool and jacuzzi were lovely extras. It's five minutes from the beach, and street parking or either of the two parking lots was easy. One of the best places we've stayed. We simply loved it. The owner's hospitality was excellent, and he gave us useful tips on places to visit and eat, along with really helpful information about Portugal in general. Breakfast was delicious too, with plant-based milk and homemade cake. Everything about the room, the location, and the cozy house made this an extraordinary, unforgettable stay. Thanks for everything!
