I’ve stayed at Residência Nova Avenida several times and have recommended it to other people. Everyone I sent there liked it. The staff are attentive and very helpful, and the rooms are kept clean, whether you choose one with a bath or without. It’s close to the metro and within walking distance of downtown Lisbon, with coffee bars and plenty of restaurants nearby. The price is unbeatable.
It’s an old, cold place, but my room had a little oil heater that helped, and I loved the quaint feel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the area is good. They don’t take credit cards. There’s no lift, so expect to climb narrow stairs.
I enjoyed my stay here. It was clean, the staff were helpful, and WiFi worked in all the rooms. The location was great, close to the station.
Quiet, very clean rooms, and the main sights are close by. Highly recommended.
Basic place, but it’s cheap, friendly, and in a great location.
