The scenery is striking, and Portugal here still feels shaped by its traditions and culture. Being surrounded by nature is a must for anyone who enjoys that kind of connection. This place also makes it easy to step away from crowds and noise and get real physical and mental rest, with room to reflect. It was a unique stay that brought me back to the basics: calm, simplicity, and something genuine and authentic.

We had a wonderful stay. Even in August, the weather felt very pleasant, and the place was so peaceful that we could hear the stream running nearby. I loved all the greenery and animals, especially the cows and horses wandering freely through the streets. It’s a magnificent setting.

The village is tiny and immersive, with a kind of quiet that's hard to find elsewhere. It was a lovely surprise, especially after the winding roads to get there, and every moment felt worthwhile. Since it's far from any town and has no shops, bring whatever you might need and come ready to enjoy the place.
