Casa Da Tia Amália Hostel

We could park our two motorcycles safely right in front of the apartment. Inside, you can feel the care that went into the place, and it's a cozy spot to spend the night. The woman who welcomed us was always smiling and made us feel at home. Our room had a proper double bed without a gap between two singles, which deserves a medal on its own. The shower was great too, with warm water and good pressure. A great find for a very affordable price. Would recommend!

The room is small, but it had everything needed, with a warm, welcoming interior. The caretaker lights the fireplace at night, which makes the guesthouse feel really cozy and homely. We visited in low season and got to share the common area with just two other local travelers. Lovely place.

The room was cozy and nicely designed, with an amazing view across the river to Mertola castle. Everything else was great too. The only drawback was that the owners don't speak any language other than Portuguese.

Lovely place for my one-night stay. The open fireplace is great in winter, though I didn't have matches or a lighter to use it. There's a stove, coffee machine, and kettle, but it would be nice if tea, coffee, and spices were provided.
