It’s a really welcoming, pleasant house. The kitchen is equipped impeccably, though I did wish it had a microwave and a coffee machine.

We kept extending our stay and ended up here twice as long as planned. It’s such a lovely place, with comfortable beds, nice rooms, a cozy lounge and a garden. Claudia, the hostess, is incredibly kind and helpful, and made us feel at home. We ate her lovely home-cooked dinners every evening. The setting in the national park is perfect for beautiful hikes, though we didn’t manage to explore as much as we hoped and would love to return. Getting here from Lisbon or Faro airport is easy, too.
