We stayed at Casa da Batata 1. The view over the Rio Minho was excellent, and despite the problems, we enjoyed our stay. Sr. Rui was attentive. The house itself needs work. The electricity kept cutting out throughout all three days, and there was no outdoor light for the first two. There weren’t many kitchen utensils, and the first-aid box was almost empty. We could hear everything from Casa da Batata 2 through the chimney and the plasterboard wall between the houses. We only got to use the shared outdoor pool on our first day because it was dirty from lack of maintenance. The walking path to the houses was very poorly lit, with no lighting along it. For a one-bedroom apartment with so many things to improve, I think the price is too high.
