The host and his wife are extremely friendly. The house is nice and sits in a beautiful park.

We loved the garden, but the musty smell in the ground-floor apartment was so strong that we left after just one night. The owner was very kind, though I wish he’d told us beforehand. We’d driven many kilometers from Valencia, then had to look for somewhere else in mid-August, when everything was fully booked and extremely expensive. I can’t post a review on the platform where I first found the place because we ended up booking directly with the owner.

We booked this as a private family getaway, but found out on arrival that the pool and outdoor areas were shared with guests in the upstairs house. Seven other people used the pool we thought was ours, and it was left with dirt, hair, and other debris. There was no real privacy, and we felt misled since the listing never mentioned sharing the outdoor spaces. We wouldn’t have booked if we’d known. There were other problems too. The place smelled strongly of damp, and every sound from upstairs carried through. The loungers didn’t match the photos and we didn’t feel comfortable sitting on them. The swing and slide were in poor shape, and the barbecue was unusable. The listing also claimed there was a dishwasher, washing machine, toaster, and kettle, but none of them were there. Not even a sugar cube or cleaning product was provided. There were photos of the upstairs bedroom but none of the downstairs one, so we expected something different and were shocked when we arrived. I wouldn’t return or recommend it. The owner replied that my review was unfair, but knows the details I’ve described are true. I’m going to post on Booking.com as well, in the hope it keeps someone else from being deceived.

We spent three days and two nights here as a family, and it was a lovely, relaxing place surrounded by nature. There’s a huge garden where kids can play and a welcoming pool for hot days. The house was in impeccable condition, and the owner was really friendly and helpful. The other holidaymakers were lovely too. Getting here was fairly easy, and the village is about a 10-minute walk away, which makes the location even nicer. I’d recommend it, and we plan to come back.
