Paraíso D`el Rio

The balcony view was a highlight. The hotel was very clean and well equipped, and there are a few parking spots.

We booked two nights but left after one. This place spoiled our short holiday. The bathroom was in poor shape, with water damage on the cupboard and door, a leaking waste pipe under the sink, black mold around the bath, and a loose door handle. It also smelled terrible. We could not sleep. Pets supposedly aren't allowed, but someone living at the hotel has a dog. It barked at us when we sat outside, then at our door every two hours through the night. Although we had a river view, there was just one chair outside, surrounded by used tissues, pistachio shells, and cigarette ends. We'd arranged an earlier check-in, but Reception was closed when we arrived. When we went back because of the problems, nobody was there.

The location was excellent, with a lovely view and the Guadiana running right alongside. I spent two nights here with my family. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the mini fridge was essential with small children. There’s a coffee machine and microwave at reception. I never met the owner because friends had made the booking and we always arrived late, but everyone says they’re very kind and always ready to help. I highly recommend it.
