The bathrooms smelled of urine, and the cleanliness overall was very poor. The hotel is badly dated and offers no amenities or customer service. Its location is good, and it might do for one night to sleep, but I wouldn’t stay again or recommend it.

The staff were friendly. The accommodation and breakfast were reasonable.

The location is the main plus, and breakfast is pretty good for the price. There’s a heat pump too. Still, cleanliness needs work: the bathroom extractor was filthy, though the sheets and towels were clean. The furniture is very old, and the bed made a lot of noise. The mattress was very hard. It’s a three-story building without a lift. It’s not bad for the price, but there’s room to improve.

The worst part was what happened after we left: I forgot something valuable in the room, and it took five days and repeated calls before it turned up. Even then, they refused to send it cash on delivery, saying it was our fault for leaving it behind and they couldn’t spare time to go to the post office. I live almost 300 KM away, about a six-hour round trip by car. The reception had nobody there; after I rang the bell, an unfriendly man appeared without even saying good afternoon. He sent us to the third floor without showing us the way, though that would have been the logical thing to do. The satellite TV only had the four basic channels, and toiletries were just in a wall dispenser. This whole experience raises questions about the room cleaning after guests leave and, beyond the lack of ethics, makes this kind of hotel hard to trust. I won’t repeat the experience here.
