It’s a nice place to spend some time, tucked away in nature and far from everything. The staff were friendly, and the homemade food and breakfast were very good.

The rooms each have their own tasteful style, and they were spotless. In fact, the whole property was immaculate. We had a carefully prepared homemade breakfast, and the owner and staff were incredibly kind and helpful. With beautiful scenery all around, this is an exceptional place. I recommend it 100%.

It’s a beautiful setting, but the service and communication were incredibly poor. We weren’t given an honest update about the wildfire. When we arrived, fire trucks had taken up all the parking, and firefighters were at the property. The fire was under control then, so it was safe in that sense, but with smoldering fires, ash in the air, and firefighting planes overhead, it wasn’t somewhere we could peacefully spend our last two vacation days. They wouldn’t accept our cancellation, then stopped responding to Booking.com when it tried to discuss what had happened and the cancellation. We ended up with significant extra costs.
