You can reach the centre in about two minutes on foot, with restaurants, bakeries, bars and all sorts of shops nearby. The place itself is quiet and full of character, with a real sense of history. The rooms, beds and bathrooms are all huge, and the ceilings are striking. The owner gives you a warm, friendly welcome.

The owners were so welcoming, and we really enjoyed our stay. The old house has been beautifully restored, the rooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. Breakfast was lovely too. Thanks for everything!

For a stay in a traditional Portuguese manor house, this is a great choice. It has recently been restored and is in excellent condition. The peaceful setting is another reason to like it.

We spent a fantastic week here with friends, and Roseta and Luis were wonderful hosts. The house feels like a little palace, a huge place dating back to the 17th century. Our room was spotless, with a very comfortable bed and an enormous bathroom. We’d happily come back. Thank you, Roseta and Luis! 😍🤩😊😊
