Villa Rio

The river view is stunning, and the terrace was a lovely place to sit. The house stayed at a comfortable temperature with the heating, and the bath water was always excellent. We really liked the rural setting, the decor, and how comfortable the house was. The kitchen had what we needed, and both the stove and oven worked very well. The house is split into T2 and T3 units. We were a large group, so we used both as one house.

The little river beach on the Rio Mouro is just behind the building, with an afternoon snack bar, and that's a real bonus. Bring swimming shoes, though! The hotel services are reliable and good quality, with sheets and towels provided. Thanks to Jessica for being so kind and available. It's a very good-value holiday spot, though food shops are far away, Moncao or Melgaco are 20 kilometers off, and there's no washing machine, which is inconvenient for a longer stay. Still, I'd recommend it 👍👍👍👍👍👍

We had a wonderful stay in this lovely house right beside the river. It's comfortable and peaceful, and seems perfect for children. The dishwasher was really useful. In my view, a washing machine would suit the place better, especially with a clothesline there.

A comfortable, modern house, just right for relaxing and taking in the natural surroundings.
