The restaurant is very good, and the rooms stay quiet. The staff are lovely too, and Salomé, the cat who lives here, is very sweet. This is a real gem: the only alberge in the little village that isn’t owned by one of the larger hotels in the area, the villa spa place. I believe in having a choice, and you get that here. Stay and help keep it going for as long as possible.

The child's pasta was fine, and she liked her ice cream, though it was just generic. The rest of the meal was a real letdown. The chicken was extremely dry, and the steak with mushrooms had a skin on it, as if it had been sitting out. I wouldn't recommend coming here for food.

Those roaming cats were such a treat for us as cat lovers. We had a lovely stay, with outstanding staff who were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. It's a great hotel for a short visit to the area, and we really enjoyed our time here. We also had a delicious lunch at the on-site restaurant, though lunch isn't part of the room rate. Breakfast is included, but was quite basic, and the coffee tasted instant. A more substantial breakfast would improve the experience.

The chicken was dry and tasteless, and the beef with Serrano had a thick, congealed layer over the sauce. I ordered plain spaghetti with just parmesan for my kid and was charged €10. We came for dinner at the restaurant and found the food poor, only worth eating if you're starving. Better to walk to the other places up or down the main road. Avoid this one unless you really have no other options. Nowhere else can be any worse. The others in my picture have better reviews, but I didn't try them. Wish I had.

The restaurant here brings back lovely memories for me. I love this authentic, peaceful and unusual place, a small spa village tucked among hanging greenery and flowering plants in a gorge, with a mineral water plant down below.
