SurfIberia

We spent four nights here in July and had an amazing time. Keshia and the surf team were so helpful, taking us from barely managing to surf to moving through the waves with ease. We’ll be back!

We came for the lovely beaches and easy access to bouldering in Sintra, then tried surfing for the first time on a whim. The coaches were incredibly motivating, real champions, and the hosts were welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was great, though vegans on a high-protein diet might want to bring some of their own food. It was easy to meet other travelers, and we met some very funny, laid-back people. It works well for solo guests and couples alike. Thanks for everything :)

I came for the surfing, then stayed longer for the location and atmosphere. The hosts are lovely, the instructors are great, and you can’t beat the setting. It’s a perfect mix of active fun and actual downtime. Fair warning, you may extend your visit and end up not seeing the rest of Portugal! Highly recommend.

We had such a good stay at Surfiberia and loved the room names, especially Fistral. The bed was comfortable, and we slept really well after days spent surfing and exploring the area. Luis was a fantastic surf coach who took time to explain how the waves behave and made us feel like pros. Great lodge, location, lessons and price. We’ll definitely return next year.
