The lake views around this amazing hotel are breathtaking. It has all the amenities for a great stay in the Montalegre region.

The bathroom and location were amazing, but there were a lot of spiders, and the floor was dirty as soon as we entered the room. The beds weren’t comfortable, either. For this price, I expected more from the service. Nobody helped with our bags or even opened the door, and there weren’t many smiles. That may be their choice, but it felt more like an Airbnb than a hotel charging what other hotels do, where staff smile, open doors, help guests, and clean the floor and walls of spiders. There were a lot of them around. The only things on the freezer were the menu and prices. Sorry, but only three stars for those ladies. These issues would be easy to improve. Just show real happiness that visitors chose to stay with you, and this could go from three stars to 4.8.

We loved the gorgeous view over the dam and the beautiful way the whole place fits into its surroundings. There’s a pool and a “lake beach,” and the modern rooms are spacious. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Highly recommended!
