The location is perfect, but that was about the only good thing. We booked five days and didn’t even stay one night: we found bedbugs in the upstairs room. We tried to get in touch with the owner afterward and got no response.

The outdoor sofa faces straight toward the beach, so it’s a lovely spot to unwind. Inside, the house makes clever use of its space and feels more roomy than it first appears. I also loved the bar, especially its old window detail. A really charming, enjoyable place.

The house is in great shape, well cared for, and everything worked properly. Prices felt very fair, too. It’s a lovely beach house, comfortable and stylish, with a calming feel from being by the sea. The architecture has loads of character and charming little details, and it’s easy to get around from here with everything close by. A real gem.
